Unanswered: How to implement a notification message?

I have a basic inventory database that tracks equipment spare parts.

My query displays the (part#) the (in stock) and (minimum stock) values. I setup the query to create a [status] field with the (stock)-(minimum stock) expression with a search criteral of >=0.

How can I have my database display a message when the value is less than or equal to 0 to notify the user that the minimum value has been reached?

    Example:
    Part# In Stock Min Status
    01-001 1 1 0

    Thanks,

iif = Immediate If for use in on-the-fly comparisons
if = begining of control statement in vba.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
