    Unanswered: DB Window

Is there a way to address the DB window, so that you can minimiz it. I know you can minimize it when you start using the minimize command. But suppose the user has restored it, and I want to minimize it before I start some operation.

A search at Google came up with two hopefully relevant links:

    http://beta.experts-exchange.com/Dat..._20581049.html
    'minimize backend, maximize front end
    DoCmd.SelectObject acForm, "Start Form", False
    DoCmd.Maximize

    http://www.fmsinc.com/products/CodeT...eforeAfter.htm
    ' Minimize the database window.
    DoCmd.SelectObject acForm, "Switchboard", True
    DoCmd.Minimize

The keyword after the name of the form is [InDatabaseWindow], I do not see how it works right away, haven't tested it, seems not to address the db window directly, but assume that "Me" is launched from the db window? If so, not "bulletproof"..., not the actual reference of course.

I tried it out and got the following

    • DoCmd.SelectObject acForm, , True: DoCmd.Minimize
      will do the job

    • DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdAppMinimise does not function because acCmdAppMinimise will not be recognised as konstant
