    Unanswered: my server won't start

    my ase server won't start!

i have 3 hdisks, one for apps and the os, 2nd is for the db itself and the 3rd functions as mirror, now the problem is, the os couldn't detect the 3rd disk(mirror), so when i start my server, either using startsrv.exe or the services in windows 2000 server, it just tells me that it's "starting" and it stays like that for like hours?!?!? when i use startsrv in the command prompt, it shows a line that says:

00:00000:00001:2004/06/28 14:56:00.73 kernel dopen: open 'E:\Mirror\mydb\mydb_def.mir', Windows NT system error 3: An invalid path was specified.

so i guess it's the 3rd disk that's the prob

how do i start my server? without the mirror

    or

is there a way to use bcp without the server running, i plan to put my db to another pc server.

    many thanks!
