    Unanswered: Better for Security: Jet or ODBC Provider?

    What is better for security - and what is the best way to save database from outer networks (for MS Access 2000) Jet or ODBC Provider? Or any other?

    I am asking this because I have to put a MS Access 2000 database to Internet using ASP as programming (scripting) language and I have to protect it.

    Well if you use a straight DSN at least you don't have to worry about error messages giving the name and location of your database. But DSN-less might be very slightly more efficient. And here's a good connection strings reference:
