Question How to get rid of "Search for..." as default homepage?

Out of the blue, "Search for..." has installed itself as my default homepage. I use WinXP. Even when I determine in Internet options that 'blank' should be my homepage, this "Search for..." page is the one I see when I start IE. What to do?

Sounds like you have got either spyware or adware, Try downloading one of the spyware killers from the web(some of which are free), just search for spyware through google.

You've been hit by "CoolWebSearch"! Try googling that.
