    Unanswered: [DB2 V7] type DECIMAL

    Hello,

If I insert the following value : 1234,5699 in a field with the type DECIMAL(6,2), the inserted value will be rounded at 1234,56 either than 1234,57 (as in informix for example). This behaviour is with DB2 V7 (aix 4.3.3).

Is this a correct behaviour or is this "bug" fixed with V8 ?

    Thx.

AFAIK, that is DB2 's default behaviour ...

You may use a BEFORE Trigger to manipulate the incoming data before inserting

    Cheers
