Red face Unanswered: slow performance during imp database

Does anyone know how to imp database into oracle? My database dump is around 3G with a very large table.

Set up a LARGE rollback segment and take all small rollback segments offline.

Remove any indexes on the table being imported and recreate them later ...
Disable all triggers (if you can) on the table. Set the table up nologging.
Disable any foreign keys (if you can)...

    Few more ideas are:

    1. Use single-task imp binary as explained Here

    2. Use COMMIT=Y in the import parameter file

    3. Use BUFFER=1000000 in the import parameter file
