    Exclamation Unanswered: HELP!about create tablespace regular or large

    My DB2--V8,FP5.
    I create two tablespace using regular mode and use several raw device. Now one tablespace has reached the its limite of 512GB. I want to create a new tablespace using large mode for 2TB limited. But I dont know the different between 'regular' and 'large' . And I dont know there is any other limite of tuning performance.

    You cannot have regular data in large tablespace (Large tablespaces are for LOBs) ...

    I can think of the following options :

    1) If you have index, long and regular data in the same tablespace, you can separate them now

    2) You can consider using UNION ALL views

    3) DPF , an option ??
