    Unanswered: ComboBox source

    I would like ComboBoxB to get its souce from ComboBoxA, but without the record selected at ComboBoxA. ComboBoxA get its records from a table, so they might be different each time

    I am guessing on AfterUpdate event of ComboBoxA, B should be updated, but i don't see how the record can be excluded

    Make a query as the rowsource for ComboboxB. In the query make the criteria:

    <> [Forms]![FormName]![ComboBoxA]

    in the Afterupdate event put:

    Me.ComboboxB.RowSource = "QueryName"

    Hope that works

    Remember: the RowSource is completely independent of any item selected within the control ...

    You should be able to do this with no trouble:

    ComboBoxB.RowSource=ComboBoxA.RowSource
    ComboBoxB.Requery

    Just make sure that the Row Suorce Types are the same ...
    Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...
