    Unanswered: Difference in time()

    Hi All
    I have a little problem with the time();
    I am getting difference in the time.
    Lets say
    First a user registers to my site, at that time i get a timestamp from time() and store it in the database.
    Second that user logins in to the site with the registered username and the login timestamp is again stored in the database field say last login time. Now in the admin area I display this two time useing the date function. I am getting the login time (Second process) as older than the registration time which is totaly wrong.
    I am wondering why this is happenening. So i tired to do this with gmmktime() so that the timestamp will be of GMT time.. but here also the system works as earlier.
    Now Please help me where i am wronge or what should be done to make it correct.

    Any help would be appricited
    Thank You
    Regards
    Rajesh

    Show code examples from each stage in the process so we can see what you are doing in more detail.
