    Unanswered: dbms_output.put_line

    Hi
    i'm writing this code in sql but i can't get the result or even the error
    message .
    It just gives PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    is there anything i can do to see the result ?

    DECLARE
    v_num1 integer := &sv_num1;
    v_num2 integer := &sv_num2;
    v_result number;
    begin
    v_result := v_num1 /v_num2;
    dbms_output.put_line ('v_result:' ||v_result);
    exception
    when zero_divide then
    dbms_output.put_line ('a number cannot be divided by zero');
    end;

    Thanks

    you have to enable the output in SQL+, for example like

    set serveroutput on size 1000000
