Arrow Unanswered: tempspace is full, what can i do ?

tempspace is managed by system. what's mean "TEMPSPACE1" (ID "1") is full? I execute command 'df -h' and get '/u' is 23GB. Has it used all the spaces?
    Thanks a lot.

The following message was in db2diag.log .

ADM6017E The table space "TEMPSPACE1" (ID "1") is full. Detected on container
"/u/biw/biw/NODE0000/SQL00001/SQLT0001.0" (ID "0"). The underlying file system
is full or the maximum allowed space usage for the file system has been
reached. It is also possible that there are user limits in place with respect
to maximum file size and these limits have been reached.

What is your OS ? What version ? What is the type of filesystem ? You may have to get your filesystem 'Large File Enabled' to create files larger than 2 gigs ...
Also, check your ulimit using the command 'ulimit -a' .. if there is a restriction on the file size, get your sysadmin to reset it to unlimited .... then, logoff, logon and db2stop-db2start ...
