I have the following questions :

1. when executing a dbcc shrinkfile againt a journal,
this last is tuncated (I mean logicaly truncated) or not.

2. We have today the following message (related to Log shiping sync) :
[Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState : 42000)] Erreur 4305 :
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]
Le journal dans ce jeu de sauvegarde commence à LSN 12399000004939400001,
ce qui est trop tard pour l'appliquer à la base de données.
Une sauvegarde de journal antérieure qui inclut LSN 12339000002409000001
peut être restaurée.
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]
RESTORE LOG s'est terminé anormalement.

I think that one of our developer truncated the journal yesterday
after discovering the journal is increasing in size. Can I verify that anywhere ?
How to do the matching (procedure or system table) between a jounal file and LNS (min and max LNS in a given journal file).

3. We are using Log shiping. we would like to remove the jounal just after its chargment
in secondary database, is there a simple mothod to do this (config tool propose to keep jounal x times ...).

Thanks in advance ...
