    Thumbs up start problem

    Hi,

you are using oracle 9i, there is no svrmgrl, you must use sqlplus

    Ex
    sqlplus /nolog
    connect system as sysdba
    startup

    Depends on you.
When you install 9i you are prompt to choose the passwords for users sys and system.
