    Unanswered: This statement fails!

How come this statement fails on Oracle!

    UPDATE TestTickets_T SET TestTicketStatusID=(select TestTicketStatusID from TestTicketStatus_T where InternalName='TICKET_STATUS_IMPORTING') FROM TestTickets_T WHERE TestTicketID=382

    I am puzzled!

In Oracle, the UPDATE statement has no FROM clause. Try:

    UPDATE TestTickets_T SET TestTicketStatusID=(select TestTicketStatusID from TestTicketStatus_T where InternalName='TICKET_STATUS_IMPORTING')
    WHERE TestTicketID=382
