    Unanswered: access 2.0 anybody?

I would really appreciate any advise anybody could offer me.

I am new at this access database programming and I am using Access 2.0 (yes, prehistoric). I have tried everything from Access Bibles and programming books to looking online but I have no idea how to get my database to work.

What I am trying to do is create a form that will delete a record selected by the user from a combo box. I have tried different micros but nothing works. It will delete but not the one I select, it always selects the top one and deletes it.

I would also like to know how you can just select one record by typing in lets say its project number and having the form go to that one record and display it.

IF ANYBODY COULD HELP ME, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT SOO MUCH!!!!

I don't know what kind of facilities access 2.0 provides, but I assume it's based on the same basic jet-sql model.

With that in mind, you can delete single records from a table by:

    DELETE yourTable
    WHERE yourfield=yourCriteria
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    Thanks again!!
