    Hi,

    What is the SQL Server equivalent for "set autocommit on" of Oracle ?

    Thanks,

    SQL Server has no equivalent; updates and inserts are commited or rollbacked when the statement is completed.

    I found 'set implicit_transactions off' for set autocommit on
    Please advice on the above. Is it right ?

    autocommit is on by default.
    Unless you want to override this behaviour by setting it OFF or back on again, you could use implicit_transactions.

    If SQL had no default autocommit, setting it could be like:
    autocommit = on -> set implicit_transactions off
    autocommit = off -> set implicit_transactions on
