    Question Unanswered: Nz syntax

I am using Access 2002, and I need some custom SQL code...I have been looking at that forum and the access that I have. It has some examples in them. Sometimes I see Nz(.....). Can somebody tell me what this means? Thank you!

When in doubt, RTM (ok, so the phrase is way outdated, it still works for me).

Thank ya Pat, So it just sees if the field that is getting looked at is null, and if so change it to a value.

Yep, that's a pretty good nickel synopsis of what NZ() does.
