    Unanswered: ksedmp: internal or fatal error

    Hello,

    I've tried to execute query, but i got a message:
    ERROR at line 1:

    ORA-27069: skgfdisp: attempt to do I/O beyond the range of the file

    But
    SQL> select * from v$datafile where file# = 201;

    no rows selected
    Tablespace's datafile is specified with MAXSIZE UNLIMITED. It is about 8GB now. Another strange (I'm not sure if it's really strange...) thing is that undo tablespace is also about 8Gigs and so is temporary tablespace.
    I've tried
    SQL> create temporary tablespace temp tempfile 'g:\temp.dbf' size 200M reuse autoextend on maxsize unlimited;

    Tablespace created.

    SQL> alter database default temporary tablespace temp;

    Database altered.

    SQL> alter tablespace undotbs1 add datafile 'undotbs2.dbf' size 200M autoextend on maxsize unlimited;

    Tablespace altered.
    but it gave no effect.

    Where can be the problem?
    What more information should I provide?

    Thanks,
    Grzegorz

    Metalink and open a TAR... I have a feeling that you actually have a "truncated" tablespace or datafile ... Do you see anything in any trace file
    that talks about the file being in a "FUZZY STATE" ???

    No, there's nothing about ,,FUZZY STATE''. What do you mean ,,open a TAR''? I haven't used metalink yet...

    Metalink is Oracle support ... You can post your problems and Oracle
    Support will look at it ... A TAR is an open log with Oracle Support
