    Unhappy Unanswered: Export problem

    Hi all,

i'm trying to make a full export of a database and this error appears :

    . exporting triggers
    EXP-00056: ORACLE error 6550 encountered
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 26:
PLS-00201: identifier 'XDB.DBMS_XDBUTIL_INT' must be declared
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 14:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored

i've already run catexp.sql, catalog.sql and catmeta.sql again, this db was generated with dbassist.

    Version :Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production

    Thanks,

    No,

the db was not converted from an older version, it was created after the oracle install.
In this case, do I need to run catpatch.sql ???

I believe 9.2.03 is a patched version (you install 9.2, then apply patch). If so, then yes, you must run it. If patches were applied, make sure you read the patch notes (they usually mention catpatch at the bottom of the file, after we've all given up on reading it).

he is correct, 9203 is a patch from 9202 or 01

why not bump up to 9204 anyways? that is a very stable version

    Hi,

The problem was that a read a note that stated the catpatch should only be run if a db exists at the install time of the patch (9.2.0.3)

    I've run catpatch.sql now and it's working fine .

    Thanks.
