    Exclamation Unanswered: Help Me!

    I am completely stuck on a minor detail in the report area of my project...

    It deals with time summation to display on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis...on the report side of things

    I am desperate!!! this has caused me headaches for too long, please help!

    Set grouping levels using datepart()

    Question datapart???

    datapart() ???

    like "=Sum(datapart([Weekly]))"

    ive never heard of that function, any ideas on how to clear it up for me? thanks man

    No, use datepart to assign values to each record, then group on the value. So you could use datepart to extract say the day and call that field "day". Then set "day" as a grouping level.

    I had one lead but he couldn't do much than some simple ideas...
