Unhappy Unanswered: Conditionally format a ComboBox ??

    Hi all,

I have a program that gets it values from a ComboBox and AutoFills the related info. in corresponding fields...which is fine. This is an Inventory System where you select the parts you are pulling from the ComboBox. However, I have a user that wants to have the parts with (0) quantities to show highlighted as Gray or whatever so that they can see at a glance not to even select those items. I have done ConditionalFormatting on Datasheet forms and all with no problem. But is there a way to Conditionally format a ComboBox in that manner?? The ComboBox is based on a Query.

    thanks in advance,
    Bud

no the background color of a combo box cannot be conditionally changed. It can be one color or the other.
