    Unanswered: qsel function

    Hi,
Can anyone explain what is qsel and how does it's used in MS Access. Why do we have to name something as qsel in query?
    Thank you

I have never heard of qsel.
Bessie Braddock: Winston, you are drunk!
Churchill: And Madam, you are ugly. And tomorrow, I'll be sober, and you will still be ugly.

qsel is not a reserved word in A ...but if i remember correctly this was one of the standard naming convention proposals as a prefix for a SELECT query.

eg "qselMyData" as an alternative to "qryMyData" or the less disciplined "MyData"

so qsel has no meaning at all ...unless you decide to use it as a standard prefix for your query names.

I saw it when I read someone's coding. It's clear now.
    Thank you very much
