Unanswered: combo search 2 can anyone fix this?

i have a slightly different prob as in the first combo search topic.

I want to select a value in a combobox and after selecting it there is a text box that should show the value of a different column but from the same record. I get stuck in the VB code that has to be entered in the afterupdate box. I have attached a sample. Is someone able to fix it?? I have seen it in numerous other databases but for some reason it doesn't work in mine. don't know what i am doing wrong

please do not try to unzip the file but just rename it to a .mdb file

    Try different approach

Look how I tweaked your column settings for the combo box and the click event for the same combo box. A lot easier......

To get the value of other columns use:

    cboTest.Column(i)

where i = the column index with base 0
