    Question Unanswered: how can call query file?

    i hav stored some queries in one file ,
    i want execute that? how?

    eg: tables.txt

    create table sample1( myname char(10));

    create table sample2( urname char(10));

    .....


    like that.

    If you have php installed, use QLR Manager, found at www.qlrmanager.com. It allows you to write / save and run queries (batch queries as well). In addition, it's does report formatting.

    It's a server based tool, so no client code to install.

    Just use the mysql command line tool, as in;

    mysql -u username -p password dbname <tables.txt
