    Unanswered: Shell Script Editor

Hello. Iīm trying to find an error in a shell script (more than 400 lines) used for backup a DB, and Im wondering if there is a good (windows) editor (a kind of debuger or syntax corrector) for this issue.
    Its not urgent.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards

If you are working on SQL or PL/SQL scripts, see www.quest.com. this does not apply if by "shell" script you mean a .bat file

i normally use vi. if i have the file on my machine I use textpad

vi or textpad work great. For debugging I suggest running the shell script (as a cronjob or on it's own) and piping the output to a temp file for your perusal.
