    Unanswered: equivalent for lag function in sybase????

    can anyone tell me equivalent for lag function in sybase????

    Hiya there,

    Indeed very useful functions to have, I don't think there is any equivalent in Sybase ASE for LAG/LEAD. Perhaps simulate using a concotted way using cursors.

    I do not know much about sybase but when i googled on sybase i got this

    but what heck is ASA is it same as Adaptive Server Enterprise..can i run that sql in ASE 12.5
