Unanswered: key violations for some reason

i have a table, im not goin to list out the columns( as thre are about 40, and about 20000 rows). i have 5 more databases like this,,, identical. the tables have no relations with any other tables.the columns in each are identical as are theyre attributes.but when i use an update query to append the data in the tables it tells me that some records cant be appended due to key violations. i cant find why. any ideas???

You can find the rows that cause the violation:
    select key
    from srcTable
    where key IN
    (select key
    from destTable)

Bessie Braddock: Winston, you are drunk!
Churchill: And Madam, you are ugly. And tomorrow, I'll be sober, and you will still be ugly.
