Unanswered: Oracle Error: table or view doesn't exist

    Hi All,

I have a stored procedure that when I try to compile it gives me an error message, table or view doesn't exist.

I can see the table in the list of all objects and I can query it. Any ideas? Thanks.

privs via a role to do not apply to stored objects. So, you can see it because it was granted to a role you have (dba is a role, not a priv). Grant select on the table directly to the owner of the proc.

perhaps you should read up on invoker rights. This might help you.
