Unanswered: Access not reading DB correctly

One week about 3 months ago the company servers crashed three days in a row, after that access 97 & 2000, along with Crystal Reports and Monarch cannot read one of about 200 Foxpro databases correctly, it reads the database but all the information it gives is 100% wrong.
The IT dept says the problem is that there are to many indexes attached to the database and Access is reading it as a flat file, There is one index file attached to this file. Now Acess has read this file just fine for the past 4 years, but after all these server crashes, it now just gives incorrect info. Anyone got any ideas?

Your index might be corrupted ... You might need to reindex it.
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

That depends on how wrong the info is ... The DB file cross linked or otherwise screwed up?
