I am the developer of a microsoft access front end (back end in sql server). I have admin rights so recently adjusted the security settings on the folder containing the front end so that other users can create the .ldb file and therefore share the database. It seems to be working well and I see that the .ldb file is created, but when I try to open the ldb file in notepad (when another user has it open) there is no data in the file and it has 0kb of data. However, when I open the access front end, I can view the ldb file with my user info. Anyone know why I cannot see who is in the database through the ldb file. Is it a permission issue or what??
