    Unanswered: what is .TRN file

    I have a database need to backup everyday, but i found there have two files there, one is database.BAK. i knew this is backup file, when i want to back up, i will use this file. But also i found another file database.TRN. I don't know what is it, why we have it. Can somebody help me. Thanks in advance.

    It may be your transaction log backup. Check RESTORE HEADERONLY to see if you get any info.
