Unanswered: Problem while starting database manager!!!!

    Hi,

I tried db2start command for starting database manager. But following message was thrown.

SQL1220N The database manager shared memory set cannot be allocated..

Can anyone help me on this??

    Thanks,
    Kamesh.

Shut down all your other applications running on the machine (maybe even reboot). Then reduce the values of the following database manager parms:

    maxagents
    maxdari
    numdb

Refer to the Administration Guide: Performancefor the command to change these parms.
