The DB we're using has about 100 fields, and when you have 20 that may be very similar (except for a few changes), it would be a godsend if we could click a button and make a new record with the same info. Is there ay built-in functionality for this? The only thing I can think of would be to do it in VBA for each control.
I do that for some of the fields which have become redundant at this point (always seem to be the same), but not ever record all the time is exactly the same.
For example there are 5 areas, each with their own style of data in diff places. So area 1 might need to enter 5 records fairly similar, but area 3 needs to put in 20. All 20 similar, but totally different from area 1's data.
I hope I explained it right w/out confusing everyone
