    Unanswered: Crystal Syntax

    Hi Group,
I have a check box on a screen whose data type is Integer.
If the check box is checked, the value is 1. If the check box is left unchecked, the value is 0.

In the report, I want to check if the value is 1 then print 'Y' otherwise print nothing i.e a space.

    I'm using Crystal version 6.5.
This is what I have at the moment....

    If ({tblClients.PublicTransport}) = 0
    then
    totext({tblClients.PublicTransport}) = ''
    else
    totext({tblClients.PublicTransport})='Y'

but it is not printing any records even though there are records in the underlying table.
    Any ideas?

    TIA

    Thumbs up

    Hi,
    Try this.
    Code:
    If ({tblClients.PublicTransport}) = 0
    then ""
    else "Y"
