    Unanswered: Find doesn't work.

Hello! I have a simple database that handles guest records for a housing program. This is an Access 2.0 database with about 7000 records. The database is on the network and accessable from all the computers in the building. Most of our computers are running Windows 98, but we recently upgraded some of them to Windows XP. On one of the computers that was upgraded to Windows XP the Find function is not working in our database more often than not. It works on all the other computers, but on this particular computer we almost always get the error message "Microsoft Access has reached the end of the records" and it never finds the record. We have verified that the records we're searching for do exist, and we have tried searching all fields, or specific fields, "Whole Field" or "Any Part of Field", but still nothing on this computer. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Thank you for your help.

It's the built in Find feature off the Edit Menu. We either press CTRL-F or click on the Find button which is attached to this command that does the same thing:
    DoCmd DoMenuItem A_FORMBAR, A_EDITMENU, 10, , A_MENU_VER20

What we are searching is a form that contains all the records in Single Form view, and we usually search by Last Name or by Social Security Number. It works, but not on this one computer and I can't figure out why that would be.

One thing to check is if you have the latest service packs on that XP machine.
