Unanswered: Equivalent for ALTER SESSION statement ?

    Hi,

What is the equivalent for below Oracle's ALTER SESSION query :

    ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT = 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:mi:ss'

    Thanks,
    Sam

I don't know if you can set it just for a particular session, but you can have some control each time a timestamp (or date) is referenced. Check out the CHAR function in the SQL Reference manual that allows one to specify ISO, USA, etc formats.
