    Unanswered: Reading other applications true Access

    With the following statement in VBA, connected to a command buttom in Access, one can read and open f.e. a Microsoft Word.doc. : example :
    Option Compare Database
    Option Explicit

    Private Sub Command0_Click()
    On Error GoTo Err_Command0_Click

    Dim oApp As Object
    Dim StrBestand As String

    Set oApp = CreateObject("Word.Application")
    oApp.Visible = True
    StrBestand = "D:\WINTERTHUR\PFP\PFP Tool\NL\Survival Kit Inh opgave fin markten 17_03_04.doc"
    Set oApp = CreateObject("word.application")
    oApp.Visible = True
    oApp.Documents.Open (StrBestand)
    oApp.Activate

    Exit_Command0_Click:
    Exit Sub

    Err_Command0_Click:
    MsgBox Err.Description
    Resume Exit_Command0_Click

    End Sub

    QUESTION : is it also possible to make a link like this to PDF-files (Acrobat Reader) ??

    Thanks.
