    Unanswered: Formating Combo Box

    Hello All,

I have a stupid problem.......I have a combo box that is formated to show a number in the format of 10-0001, 10-0002,.....etc. When you click on the combo box and it extends down, it shows the number in the format, 10-0001. But when I click on a number, instead of showing 10-0001, it shows 1. How can I get the Combo box to display 10-0001, 10-0002,...etc at all times?

    Thanks,
    Christina

n/m, I'll poke around. I assume the value is numeric? You're going to run into some trickery if the actual value is 1.

Edit: Ok, I don't think you can do this the way you really want to. One way to get around this would be to pull two columns, one with the original value, and one with:

    Format(yourField,"\10-0000")

Then bind the combo box to the first column, and set the column count to two with column widths 0";1"
