Has anyone experienced that when swithcing from one group of links to another in the main db window, then access uses *very* different amounts of memory?

From around 200mb, when entering one of my quick-link groups (where one group links to the various queries, forms, reports, etc...) , Access 2002 immediately uses 420mb of ram, swithinng to another goes down to 220, yet another up to 780mb !!!

I am not sure if this is a mis-indication or what (checking with Task Manager in WinXPpro, as it happens so fast that I am in doubt if the memory is really used at all, but could be "allocated", for example?

Can this be a sign of early corruption? I compact this development db several times every day...
