Unanswered: query using form to filter

i have a form called frm_Unaccounted on this form i have a combo box called cboLine

in my query i have entered the following hoping that it will use the criteria from the form

    [Forms]![frm_Unaccounted]![cboLine]

i have the form open, and set it to a specific line then run the query but i keep being asked for:

    Enter Parameter Value

    Forms!frm_Unaccounted!cboLine

can someone please help me with this

    cheers

    Try instead using [Forms]![frm_unaccounted]![cboline].column(0)

I am not used to doing this stuff in a query grid, so it may not work

I'm having no problem using: [Forms]![frm_unaccounted]![cboline] to get the query to work.

Attached is a simple sample of what I did.

Remember that when you specify froms!frm!cboLine then it means the first default column. Check your combo box and see if you are getting data in your first column or not? Looks like your combo box is not set properly otherwise, there is no error in your query.
