    email error

    Hi all,
I have a problem sending email through a database using my companies email server. I set up a module with a function called "sendemail" with all the server information and call the function from a form. I use a command button to send a notification email . I get an error "the server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server responses was 553 invalid recipient address." I checked the email addresses. Unforutnately, I can't give you a file of the code because of security reasons. Pls. help me figure out what can be wrong.

The problem is probably that the "@" symbol is being interpreted as a special character when it is put into the database and the full address is not being stored. So when you give it to your email program the addresses fail.

Try using quotes around the email address in your statement when you are inserting it so it is properly stored as a string.
