Unanswered: Convert SQL script to Oracle

I tried to convert the below SQL script to Oracle:

    REPLICATE( '\ ', ( ( LEN( DisplayOrder ) / 23 ) - 1 ) * 5 ) AS Indent

    As

    RPAD('\ ', ( ( LENGTH( DISPLAYORDER ) / 23 ) - 1 ) * 5 ) as INDENT

But SQL Plus not happy about this and replaced it with:

    RPAD('OEM_sqlplus_input_finished;', ( ( LENGTH( DISPLAYORDER ) / 23 ) - 1 ) * 5 ) as INDENT

    Any idea and suggestion?

Thank you in advance for help.

The ampersand (&) is used in sqlplus scripts to substitute parameters or values.

issue the following command before your query:

    Code:
    SET DEF OFF
The person who says it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it. -- Chinese proverb
