    Unanswered: C++ and ADO

    Hello folks -

    I have a little problem. I have a C++ service that was written using DAO. My manager wants it re-written using ADO. However, when I attempt to build, I get an error on the #import-ed dll for ADO (#import "c:\program files\common files\system\ado\msado26.tlb" no_namespace rename( "EOF", "A_EOF" )). It complains that Windows.h is included and that MFC apps can't include windows.h. However, there are many other classes that require it. Does anyone know of a way around this? IE someway to use ADO with some sort of workaround for the DLL or something to that effect? Any help would be appreciated.
