    Angry Unanswered: Testing Server7 Backup

I have a full backup done on a very important server 7 database. Now i have to test to see if it is saving okay and to do a mock restore to see how quickly we can restore same. The size of the file is about 700M. I would have to do my testing on a test server. How do I go about this.
    Thanks.

?? Install SQL Server 7 on your test server, copy the backup file to the test server, restore the backup on the test server, and test. You will probably also need to transfer the users to the test server. Do a search on here or www.sqlteam.com for sp_help_revlogin. You run this script in the master database on the original server. It gives you a permissions script that you need to run "after" you restore the database on the test server.
