Cool Unanswered: Record the location codes in database

    Hello All,

Here's the thing: I have a database, all set for use. It's in use. I want to add the following features:

    1) a field or something that will allow user to add in the location codes (our school facilities are classified by location, such as 8542, 8242, 8522, so forth). The user needs to be able to list all the location codes that are associated with a map (unique record - we use "MAPNumber" field) that we produce.

    2) Include a search form that will allow user to input a location code and have it list all the map numbers that have that location codes.

I hope anyone can shed some insight into that.

    Thanks!

    -Erick

Have your form filtered to a combobox filled with location codes. Then create a subform related by locationcode that displays map numbers.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    Question Response

Um, Thanks but I do not know how to interpret that. I'm fairly new at this. Can you please expand on that?

    Thanks.
