    Unanswered: Converting mdb to dbf

    Hello

Does anyone know how to convert from mdb to dfb using scripting or a software to do that?

Ready to buy after trial version.

    Hi there,

    The short answer:
    - dbf should not be too much of a problem for most of the data.

However, it depends on how much of the MDB-specific functionality that has been used. We need some more information about what exactly is in the MDB. Is it a pure storage/back-end, or does it contain logic etc. such as forms, reports, vba code? What about the usage of hyperlink fields, OLE and memo fields, etc...?

And a bit of background on what the goal is, please (the situation/why/why dbf and not other alternatives).

Could be you have easier options than dbf.

MDB to DBF and VICE versa converter

    Hello

    Thanks for your reply.
Note that The mdb file is used for storage only and none of the mentioned things you said in your email. It is a simple mdb file with data in it only. As for the reason i am using the dbf format it is cause I am using foxpro and I develop software for the pda and I have a lot of dbf files that i wish to convert to mdb.

    Appreciate your help
