    Unanswered: Search a simple list

    All,

    I have a list of 3000 text strings. These text strings can all fall under the same classification/field. All I need is a query of the list that returns all of the text strings that are duplicated 1 or more times. I dont need the query to return a value for every instance of duplication (duplicate duplicates). Any suggestions?

    Thanks for your time....

    (If this is 2+2, I apologize. Im learning arithmetic)

    Use Group function and count Function
    In SQL it will lokk like this:

    SELECT [tl-Mytable].MyTextString, Count([tl-Mytable].MyTextString) AS CountOfMyTextString
    FROM [tl-Mytable]
    GROUP BY [tl-Mytable].MyTextString
    HAVING (((Count([tl-Mytable].MyTextStringl))>1));
