Hi,

I keep getting these similar errors related to connectivity. I have a work around that keeps trying the query until it succeeds, but I am still very uncomfortable with the situation. If anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated!!! Here are the three errors I get. They appear on different queries and always eventually succeed:

1)
ADO database error detected:
Number: -2147217887
Description: Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.
Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
HelpFile:
HelpContext: 0
SQLState:
NativeError: 0

2)
ADO database error detected:
Number: -2147467259
Description: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
HelpFile:
HelpContext: 0
SQLState: 08001
NativeError: 17

3)
ADO database error detected:
Number: -2147467259
Description: Timeout expired
Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
HelpFile:
HelpContext: 0
SQLState: HYT00
NativeError: 0

2 occurs the most, 1 and 3 less often. I think that I get an error on about 1 in 30 queries I execute, but once I do get an error, it is likely to get an additional error on the same query, although I haven't seen more then 5 on the same one...

Many thanks,
Radboud
