My company is installing Access databases on various university campuses. For some reason, on three of the computers (out of the eighteen that have received it), I get "The OpenForm action was canceled." error. On the main form, the user clicks a button to open up another form (frmDisplay). Below is the error in full and the code in full. Any ideas what might be causing this problem on select machines?

The OpenForm action was canceled.

You used a method of the DoCmd object to carry out an action in Visual Basic, but then clicked Cancel in a dialog box.
For example, you used the Close method to close a changed form, then clicked Cancel in the dialog box that asks if you want to save the changes you made to the form.

Private Sub cmdOpen_frmDisplay_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_cmdOpen_frmDisplay_Click

Dim stDocName As String
Dim stLinkCriteria As String

stDocName = "frmDisplay"
DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria

Exit Sub

MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_cmdOpen_frmDisplay_Click

End Sub
